Evaluating the Neuromotor Development of Infants and Toddlers

Description

Observing and evaluating the neuromotor skills of infants and toddlers can be a window into their physical development. Neuromotor evaluations can identify challenges that a child may be having early on and identify when a child's motor development is on track. The presentations will overview: what clinicians looking for with infants and toddlers neuromotor development? Why is it so closely observed and assessed by physicians, PTs and OTs in the first few years? What can be the significance of what is seen? Case examples will be presented and examples of tools that clinicians use to make determinations will be discussed.
