Assistive Technology for Young Children

Assistive Technology for Young Children will discuss how AT and AT services are used to promote development and participation in early childhood. Definitions for a full range of AT will be discussed along with how AT supports evidenced-based early intervention practices. Ms. Susan Mistrett, a nationally recognized expert in assistive technology for young children, will guide the audience in how to ensure that AT fits within the everyday routines of children and the steps to consider, select, use and evaluate assistive technology will be outlined and discussed. Audience participation activities are included throughout the webinar.
