This conference gathers teachers, parents, and early childhood educators working with dual language learners from birth to five years old, offering professional training and networking opportunities. Our main goal is to bring together parents, educators and other professionals supporting language learning throughout the community. This conference will allow you the opportunity to share and receive experiences and knowledge and a time to collaborate and cultivate new learning to set a sight on going above and beyond our current teaching practices. This conference features keynote speaker, Dr. Luisiana Melendez, Professor and Director of the Bilingual/ESL Certificate Program at Erikson Institute as well as workshops hosted by El Valor education staff and special guest Patricia Carlos Dominguez, creator of the Pilsen Children's Theater and author of "Tsipeni y Joselito."
