Assessing the Needs of the Child with Trisomy 13 and the Impact of Trauma and Toxic Stress on Young Children

This is an "in house" training for CFC#15 service coordinators during which Dr. Larry Desch will present medical diagnostic, assessment, treatment information, and resources. Case examples of child with Trisomy 13 and the child who has experienced trauma will be presented. Diagnostic considerations, clinical features, prevalence, available resources, prevention, treatment, clinical implications, and assessment of the needs of the child and family in EI will be addressed.
