At The Theraplay Institute's monthly networking and education group, Attachment Matters, Billy Kaplan, LCSW, Director at House Calls Counseling, will be presenting Resistance is Futile: Working with parents of traumatized children. Discussion will include techniques for engaging parents. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the perspective of parents, how parents are affected by secondary trauma, and will increase recognition of how parents' own experiences of being parented may be affected in their work with parents.
