Enhancing Play and Learning through Sensory Experiences
Come join us at The Theraplay Institute to hear Hayley Anderson, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Manager of Family Services at the National Lekotek Center.
Hayley will discuss why sensory is important and why play is important for child development. Attendees will be presented evidence-based research and information about child development theorists and will learn how to incorporate sensory experiences into play and learning. Ways to successfully adapt activities and techniques will also be discussed.
