Typical Child Development from birth through age 3.

Description

This workshop will focus on typical development in the first 3 years of life. We will discuss what is 'normal' and ways to best support children and their development at each stage of development. We will discuss typical milestones and the ranges of when you can expect these milestones to emerge. We will focus on the areas of cognitive, language, motor, social/emotional, and adaptive skills. After the discussion of what to expect at each age, we will focus on how to set up a classroom or therapy session to get maximum benefits during your time with children as well as realistic expectations for children during each stage.
