Dr Keen provided information on what the Zika virus is, and how it is transmitted. She reviewed the signs and symptoms of the Zika virus, and discussed populations at risk for contracting the virus. Dr Keen explained the complications associated with Zika virus, including Guillan-Barre in pregnant women, as well as microcephaly and severe brain defects in babies.
