Typical Motor Development

Description

This training will cover basic motor development from birth through approximately 2 years. Discussion will include the development of anti-gravity movement, proximal to distal control and refinement of coordinated movement. Included will be the role of motivation and reinforcement for continued acquisition of skills. While all EI disciplines are welcome, it should be noted that material covered should be considered "entry level" for those providers who may have a rudimentary understanding of motor development. Please wear comfortable clothes as part of the training will be "experiential."
