A Journey Through Reflective Practice in EI: Empathy & Listening Skills

Description

Child & Family Connections #15 is hosting a topic driven, ongoing, reflective discussion group open only to CFC #15 providers. Forming relationships is inherent in providing early intervention services, consequently providers will encounter a variety of issues that my influence their assumptions, reactions, beliefs, and ability to better understand the needs of the child and family. The goal of this group is to provide a place of support and reflection. This will be an active discussion group where providers will be expected to share, hear, and learn from their own and others experiences. This group will be lead by Mary Valerius, SEC, and Wendy Kolar, TA and each session will be limited to 15 participants due to the interactive nature of the group.
The topic for the July 14th meeting is "Reflective Practice: Empathy & Listening Skills".
