Use of Self in supporting the Social and Emotional Development of a Child

Participants will learn how to identify their strengths as a home visitor or early childhood teacher. They will then discuss ways to incorporate these strengths into engaging a child into not only a relationship, but also as a partner in learning. Participants will look at how to consistently use this sense of self with the children in their care as well as with parents to better support a positive Head Start experience.
