National Standards Project: Phase II Integration of evidence-based practice with young children on the spectrum

Description

This workshop is the second of a 2-part series on the National Standards Project, Phase II. This workshop will focus on the Project's recommendations for evidence-based practice, including the integration of various approaches (applied behavior analysis, structured teaching, PRT, sensory strategies, use of Picture Exchange Communication System, among others). This workshop will focus on the most evidence-based practices, as outlined by the Project's results, to be utilized with young children on the autism spectrum. The workshop will review the age and skills/behaviors targeted by each intervention and their use with young children.
