Autistic-Like: Understanding children with Sensory Processing Disorder and Supporting Interventions

Description

For this training we will watch the documentary, Autistic:Like: Graham’s Story, and learn more about the diagnosis of sensory processing disorder, versus a diagnosis of Autism. In this story we will meet Graham and his parents who document their multi-year process of learning and understanding Graham’s diagnosis and his intervention needs. We will also discuss how to work with families who are often on the unclear journey of understanding what their child may have and how to support them.
