Description |
Overview:
This one-day course will explore the important structural and functional relationships related to the musculoskeletal system of the hip region. This in-depth presentation will provide an excellent foundation for clinical evaluation and treatment of the hip joint and surrounding areas. Several clinical examples of pathokinesiology will be incorporated into the lectures. The concepts discussed in this course will provide a foundation for a range of clinical practices, from pediatrics, geriatrics, and orthopaedics.
This course is presented through lecture and demonstration, enhanced by videos of cadaveric dissection and illustrations published in his textbook. Each illustration clearly describes the anatomic and mechanical basis for movement and function of the hip and associated lumbar spine. A clear, organized, visual perception of this subject matter should stimulate further professional growth and interest in this important area of the body.
