On the fourth Thursday of every month, The Theraplay Institute hosts a meeting of attachment-focused mental health professionals who work in private practices, adoption agencies, nonprofits, EI, hospitals, and schools.
On 2/25/16, join us for a special networking breakfast. Meet other local professionals to hear about the services they offer and share information about your services and areas of expertise. Hear a short presentation about Capturing the Nervous System: The Science Behind Peekaboo. Learn about how attuned, structured, nurturing interactions between caregivers and children create a foundation for a healthy stress response system and regulation. Understand how interpersonal face to face play combines safety cues with up regulating the state of arousal, while maintaining safety.
