Service Coordinators are charged with facilitating team discussions and decision making during meetings with children and families in the Illinois Early Intervention System. Recently, the Lead Agency clarified and strengthened the wording in procedures related to evaluation and assessment. A new statewide report format was also introduced around the same time. This two hour workshop is designed to assist Service Coordinators as they implement these clarifications and will cover topics including: shared understanding/ensuring we are all on the same page, case based examples of what is working well and what challenges exist, and the importance of consistency and team communication!
