Description |
In the first half of this workshop we will review typical developmental milestones from birth to three years of age. Use of video and print materials will be provided as well as examples of common atypical motor patterns and patterns seen with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In the second half of the workshop, an overview of EI principles and the new EI Evaluation/Assessment Report Format will be provided. Following that, a case study using actual EI Evaluation reports will be used to simulate mock IFSP discussions. Particular emphasis will be given to determining Domain Age Equivalent scores and identifying the child’s strengths and needs.
