Using Positive Statements to Elicit Cooperation in Young Children

Description

We will discuss language which therapists and parents can use when talking with young children to elicit their cooperation. Positive phrasing and statements rather than questions are especially powerful when working with toddlers. Specific examples will be provided. Participants will have opportunity for questions and comments.
