Description |
This case discussion will begin with a 45 minute presentation of the qualities of reflective practice. It is intended to be both a primer on reflective practice as well as a review for more experienced service coordinators. It begins with a definition and with a discussion of what self -reflection is. We also discuss how parallel process is a part of reflective practice and how supports filter down to facilitate development. And we discuss how problems of the parents and children can filter up to influence workers and supervisors. We will then discuss a case brought to the group by one of the coordinators using the principles of reflective practice in our discussion. This will be done in a small group setting.
