Current State of Autism Early Intervention Research

Description

Children and their families in the Early Intervention System deserve to have services of highest quality possible. This presentation will review the growing evidence-base for ASD-specific early intervention approaches and discuss research based best practice recommendations and critical areas of future research. This presentation will also discuss current research efforts to increase access to high quality ASD-specific early intervention services, including the use of telehealth to provide parents with information about evidence-based intervention strategies.
