Transitioning from Early Intervention – When I’m 3, Where Will I Be?

Transitioning out of Early Intervention at the age of 3 brings choices for families. Let’s explore the resources to support families as they learn about their options for their children. Resources to use with families while they are still enrolled in Early Intervention will be provided including the “Where Will I Be When I’m 3” workbook. A panel of presenters, including STARNET Region IV Resource Specialist, Kathy Nehrt and LEA & other agency representatives will provide an overview of the various options that may be available for 3 year olds. We will ALL have an opportunity to share the strategies we use to prepare children and their families for a smooth and seamless transition into life after early intervention.
