COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Zones of Regulation® Advanced Training entitled Putting the Zones into Practice by Leah Kuypers, MA. Ed., OTR/L is a course for participants who have taken the introductory course or who have reviewed the book by the same name and are ready to develop a deeper understanding of The Zones. This course will focus on assisting the learner in understanding the causes of dysregulation and to come to a uniform understanding on challenging behaviors. Detailed instructions on executing the Zones’ learning activities as well as adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of lower functioning students and adults with disabilities are provided. New activities and additional supports to meet the needs of very young Zones’ users will be shared. This professional continuing education activity will be invaluable for teachers, therapists, social workers, and other who assist and manage learning activities for individuals with self-regulation or other social learning issues.
