Through the use of presentation, discussion and a case study example, participants will explore the ASQ-3
screening tool from administration to scoring and interpreting results. Using the screening results to
make decisions with families regarding next steps, referral for evaluation and follow-up activities will be
highlighted through the use of a case study. Tips and strategies on the effective use of the ASQ-3 in early
childhood settings will be shared. It will be helpful for participants to have previous knowledge of, or
training in, the ASQ-3.
