Description |
This new workshop covers therapeutic evaluation and treatment of pediatric toe walking by combining traditional physical therapy methodologies with occupational therapy’s sensory integration strategies when indicated. Information is presented from a foundation in scientific principles and with the support of relevant research and clinical evidence.
Participants will learn a framework to determine equinus gait etiologies and treatment strategies. Toe walking Assessment Strategies will be introduced and related to specific treatment techniques for specific subsets of clients with equinus gait.
