Assessing the Needs of the Child with Ocular Albinism and the Child with Multiple Diagnoses

Description

This is an "in house" training for CFC#15 service coordinators during which Dr. Larry Desch will present diagnostic information. Case examples of a child with Ocular Albinism and a child with multiple diagnoses (seizures, PDA, microcephaly, bilateral retinal damage, encephalopathy, HSV, and occlusion of the cerebral arteries) will be discussed. Diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis, associated risks, prognosis and assessment of the needs of the family related to the diagnosis will be presented. The focus of the training is on assessment and diagnostic criteria for each case presented.
