Feeding Therapy in Early Intervention and Schools

Description

A review of the key skills and knowledge needed to provide feeding and swallowing therapy to children in non-clinical settings, particularly early intervention and public school settings. The course covers normal anatomy and development, recognition of important warning signs, and how to assess and treat common feeding and swallowing problems. It also covers important practice policies and legal issues clinicians should be aware of when practicing feeding therapy in Illinois and Indiana.
