Learning Decks-Healthy Infants: Prevention-Promotion Supports for Vulnerable Families in Rural and Urban Communities

Description

Participants will be presented with the prominent features of the Healthy Infants model including the application of RTI for the infant and toddler population. A set of tools will illustrate the impact of using innovation and collaboration to ameliorate the effects of toxic stress and promote caregiver responsiveness and infant development in both urban and rural communities. We will provide recommendations for using strategies to support caregiver responsiveness and decrease the cumulative effects of adverse life events.
