Assessment of the Evolving Needs of the Child with Cloves Syndrome and the Child with Congenital Heart Disease

This is an "in house" training for CFC#15 Service Coordinators during which Dr. Larry Desch will present diagnostic information. Case examples of a child with Cloves Syndrome and a child with Congenital Heart Defects (including TGA, ASD, & PDA) will be presented. Diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis, associated risks, prognosis and assessment of the needs of the family related to the diagnosis will be presented. Cloves is a very rare and newly defined condition with many unknowns, therefore the unique needs related to this condition and ways to support the child and family will be discussed.
