Description |
A child’s positive or negative mental health can be viewed as she plays. Children learn about their world and how to deal with their issues through play. It is important that social service providers and families learn to teach social emotional skills to their children. The easy way to teach these skills is through games. This hands on workshop will focus on teaching the attendees not only specific games that focus on social emotional learning but how to develop appropriate games for the people that they serve. And they will learn how to share this learning with their families. The attendees will practice the games in the sessions. And they will learn the specific skill that is being taught through the games.
