As early as possible , it is important to assess the language and literacy function of 0-3 year old as non biased as possible. To this end, there are non biased protocols and scales designed to tap overall language and literacy function of this population. We will discuss various tools to use in this endeavor to get the most accurate measure of function which assists in planning for educational decisions.
