Responding to the Social-Emotional Needs of Infants and Toddlers; Innovations that Promote Child Well-Being in “Real World” Practice
1. Participants will be able to identify the effects of early neglect, trauma and adversity on infants and toddlers.
2. Participants will be able to utilize assessments of symptoms particular to early childhood in planning for interventions for these children and their families and caregivers.
3. Participants will be able to identify how systems can promote or deter implementation of innovative programs.
4. Participants will be able to critically analyze the advantages and limitations of evidence based interventions with this population.
5. Participants will be able to identify strategies to support the engagement of families in services to address early trauma and adversity.
