How Children's Mental Heatlh/Mental Illness Affects Home, School and Community

Description

What is PIAT?

Have you ever attended a conference specifically for children with mental health conditions? If you have, were parents, school and mental health professionals all hearing the same message? Does having presenters give the most up-to-date information available strike you as important? Would you like speakers to come and explain early intervention methods to all three groups? If so, you will definitely want to attend the PIAT conference.

PIAT strives to bring parents/caregivers of children who have mental health conditions together with teachers, early childhood and mental health professionals all under the same roof, hearing the same message of hope for our children. Here are some testimonies from last year's conference:

Attended the Piecing It All Together conference at SIU Edwardsville, and I thought it was about the best conference I'd ever attended. - Educator from Dixon, IL

Very relevant information to my work. That helps me feel refreshed, a little more competent and ready to get back and try some new ideas. - Mental Health Professional

Loved all of it! This is always a good conference with lots of good info. - Parent Best in Illinois - School Social Worker
