Inspiring Music Play for Infants and Toddlers

Description

The training workshop will bring participants through activities in music play. These activities are energizing to the group, but also serve as a context for discussing larger points about the nature of play itself and the connections between play and opportunities for development. The workshop will address the importance of the relationship between the child and caring adults and provide a repertoire of music play activities that build that relationship while developing abilities across all domains of development. The workshop will address the inclusive nature of play and provide specific examples of how children of all ability levels can participate in and benefit from music.
