Course Outline:
• Introductions and history of Total Motion Release
• A demonstration of how TMR works on all course participants
• The importance of following the 5 Step Process
• Self Awareness of Issues in static positioning and motion
• Reviewing the Issue Scale
• How to use the Student Manual
• How to Effectively Test
• How to Rank exercises into the greatest to least priority
• Learning the Fabulous 5 basic exercises –single plane movements
• Knowing when to continue treating
• Home exercise program and how to effectively assess for understanding
• Therapeutic Positioning and ADLS to incorporate treatment into daily routines
• Advancing into 2 & 3 dimensional exercises & treatment
• Extensive Lab time treating self and partners and therapy dolls
• Demonstration of treatment on a patient
• Videos of pediatric TMR demonstrated on children with a variety of issues

Goals and Objectives:
• Understand the neuromuscular basis for Total Motion Release
• Perform a full body TMR evaluation
• Perform TMR treatment exercises for most musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunction
• Use the TMR documentation format to evaluate, treat and instruct in home programs
• Design and Assess home program using the TMR philosophy

• Demonstration, use of student manual and movement labs to evaluate yourself, partners, groups and practice with dolls
• Demonstration on patient
• Instruction with video presentation of multiple dysfunctions
