DiGeorge Syndrome: What you need to know to support children and families

Description

Presenters will lead a discussion on how DiGeorge syndrome affects development, identify developmental strengths and challenges and determine an appropriate plan for intervention. Presenters will review medical conditions associated with this syndrome and how they affect daily living skills. Gina Morley, genetic counselor, will discuss the syndrome's genetic make-up and review genetic testing and family history.
