Connecting the Dots

Description Simply stated, meaningful IFSP meetings occur when the team focuses on the priorities that families and other caregivers have within their daily lives. Through exploring the practical connection between the processes of intake, evaluation and assessment, and measurement of the 3 global child outcomes, this session supports service coordinators and early interventionists in partnering with families to develop IFSPs that are functional, reflective of family strenghts and priorities, and are inclusive of strategies and activities that families and other caregivers can implement during their daily routines and activities.
Video, discussion, and small group activities are used to explore the planning process and to practice developing IFSP strategies and outcomes that work!
