Caring without Crossing the Line: Professionalism in Early Intervention

Description

Maintaining a professional relationship with families receiving early intervention services can often be challenging. This training reviews common professional pitfalls and explores how to develop and maintain healthy relationships with the children and families they serve. Participants will learn in-depth about relationship-based practices in early intervention, and the benefits to framing and building boundaries in their practice. Properly building the correct relationships provides families with a very important skill: learning to advocate for themselves.
