Description: Identification of motor and sensory issues that impact feeding and relating these to real world situations/clients.

Learner Objectives: Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Identify and discuss how delayed motor skills and sensory processing difficulties can impact successful feeding for a child.
2. Discuss strategies to improve tongue and jaw mobility for children in order to accept age appropriate foods.
3. Discuss case studies and provide 5 strategies to suggest to families on how to promote enjoyable mealtimes at home.
