The transition from Early Intervention to Early Childhood programming can be confusing and stressful for families, and sometimes frustrating for professionals. Differences in the two service systems: eligibility, vocabulary, service delivery, and even expectations, as well as meeting and working with a whole new team of people can be a lot to adjust to for families. There are ways to help make this transition a smooth, timely and successful process for all parties involved.
