Medical Disorders and Feeding Complications

Description

This presentation will focus on the impact of medical disorders, including GI, neurologic, infectious, and metabolic disorders, on infant/toddler feeding. Contribution of developmental/behavioral issues will be discussed, including a review of DSM5 criteria for feeding disorders. Case discussion. Attendees are encouraged to bring specific questions and to be prepared to discuss challenges they are having with children on their caseload.

**Please note that a morning workshop is also being offered by CFC 21 from 9:30 – 11:30 on this day. This workshop is entitled, “See. Play. Learn. Impact of Visual Development & What To Do When There Are Concerns" and will be presented by Rebecca Lambert from The Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments.
