Description |
Vision has a profound impact upon a child’s development. A visual impairment or diagnosis can be obvious, but for very young children the signs of a visual concern can be subtle. This seminar will explain how vision develops and how it impacts all areas of development. Strategies that support visual development will be shared with attendees as well as key indicators in identifying children who are at risk of developing visual concerns. The Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments provides a variety of services to children and their families. Lisa Rohr and Rebecca Lambert will explain all the services the Center has available and how to make a referral.
**Please note that an afternoon workshop is also being offered by CFC 21 from 12:30 – 2:0 pm.
