Description This webinar will review the benefits of an early diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, valid and widely available screening tools, and how to begin conversations and support families through this process.

Objectives:

At the end of this training, early intervention providers will be able to:

1. Identify early signs of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

2. Understand the autism screening guidelines and the benefits and limitations of ASD screening within the EI system

3. Have increased knowledge about explaining the screening process/results to parents and about supporting them in getting a diagnostic evaluation.
