Families and providers will learn the basics about infant massage, including benefits for parent and baby. These include:
Stimulation, Relaxation, Relief from discomfort, and Interaction. A certified instructor will demonstrate a few techniques which are taught more in-depth in longer classes. This program is intended for newborn to pre-crawlers and their parent(s). Providers can learn more about these techniques to share information with families. Bring a soft doll to practice if you don't have a child to bring with you and wear comfortable clothing to sit on the floor with your baby.
