Developing Family-Centered Outcomes: Strategies Part 2

Description

This training follows are discussion on creating functional, measurable outcomes. Equally as important as creating a great outcome is identifying appropriate, functional strategies for the family. Through this presentation, we discuss how strategies are identified and communicated to the team. We identified the Service Coordinator's role in facilitating this conversation and keeping the family's priorities at the forefront of all discussions. We also identify how and when assistive technology should be brought into the discussion. Finally, we discuss how intervention services are based upon outcomes and strategies and how that information is delivered to the team.
