Description |
This informative training gives families and providers a detailed look at what happens during the transition process and what they can expect as children reach three years. We discuss the differences between Early Intervention and Early Childhood services, how therapy looks in each setting, how a child is determined eligible for the Part B programs and what their ongoing teams look like. Additionally, we review parental responsibilities during the transition process, transportation options and other services available outside of the local school district. Families present will also have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with their local school district representative after the training.
