Motor Skill Development

Description

Early and accurate identification of developmental delays is critical for optimal early intervention. It is estimated that approximately 17% of children under the age of 18 have some form of developmental disability.

This program presents guidelines for successful assessment and progression of treatment and discharge for patients with impaired motor skill development. Typical and atypical development will be studied to provide a framework for analysis guidelines incorporate current evidence and accepted treatment strategies. Short video case presentations will demonstrate how to link assessment to treatment followed by lab and discussion.
