Illinois System Refresher: What's New in Early Intervention?

Description This full-day session provides a refresher on Illinois' Early Intervention System, including a review and discussion of new and/or updated policies, procedures and informational notices, eligibility criteria, child and family outcomes, documentation, as well as the roles and responsibilities of key early intervention partners.
This session offers the opportunity to discuss what's new in evidence-based research and theories related to early intervention within the context of the family-professional partnership. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss successes they have realized and challenges experienced in the field. Practical experiences from the field will be used to identify, explore, and clarify Illinois' policies and procedures.
This full-day session is intended for early intervention personnel and stakeholders who have been working in the field for at least 1 year OR who have not taken the system overview training for more than a year.
