A Multidisciplinary Approach to Feeding and Mealtime Difficulties

Description

Jill Butler and Kim David, veteran Early Intervention therapists, will demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach on working with children who have feeding difficulties by understanding parent-child interactions and the child's development. Kim, an occupational therapist, and Jill, a speech pathologist, will present a case study, including videos from the sessions, that demonstrate the value of a team approach while coaching a parent through overcoming challenges of feeding their child successfully. This approach leads to the parent and child experiencing the greatest feeling of success in addressing this often overwhelming challenge.
