#323 Embedding Sensory Strategies into Children's Daily Routines

Description

This course is a full day interactive and dynamic work shop that will provide pediatric therapists and teachers in with valuable information and tools to help address sensory needs within the population that they serve. The course will provide an overview of sensory processing strategies and treatment ideas that can be carried over across settings. Tools such as the sensory profile will be reviewed. Strategies to address sensory needs and embedding them into the daily routines of children and families will be emphasized. Learn how to apply the KAWA model, interview, and address the challenges that come with treating pediatric needs. Case studies, discussion and real examples, will leave the learner with the insight to tackle SI issues with new approaches and confidence.
