Each parent and professional will receive a Mini Book of Visual Systems that includes visual systems, including a picture library that can be used by parents, respite providers or babysitters to help the child make choices, use a schedule, and participate in activities at home and in the community. The training will cover how to use all of the systems. Parents will also be provided with a variety of community and program resources. Parents will receive training on using basic visual and communication systems for home including a schedule, transition system, choice board, etc.
